My broadcast career has straddled both behind-the-scenes leadership and on-camera roles.
As the Executive Producer of CBS News Confirmed, I launched initiatives to combat misinformation, with a focus on deepfakes and AI-generated content, particularly in the lead-up to the 2024 election. I led a team that created engaging TV, digital, and social media content to educate and empower viewers on discerning factual information in an era dominated by rapid information sharing and technological advancements.
Before that, I spent more than a decade at CNN, producing rolling news, launching new shows, managing high-profile talent, reporting on-air, and building teams both locally and remotely.
Highlights include:
'Fareed Zakaria GPS'
• Producer on CNN's weekly foreign affairs show, analyzing the biggest issues facing the globe with a host of in-depth interviews with key news-makers. (October 2016-January 2017)
'CNNMoney with Maggie Lake’
• Oversaw all aspects of CNNI’s New York anchored business show, leading and managing a production team spread across three different cities - New York, Atlanta and London. (August 2014- October 2016)

‘The World Right Now with Hala Gorani’ -
• Launched & produced CNN International's prime-time show ‘The World Right Now with Hala Gorani’ in London in Spring 2014.
‘Connect the World with Becky Anderson’ -
• Spent two years Producing CNNI’s flag-ship show 'Connect the World' with Becky Anderson. (April 2012 – March 2014)
Special Programming -
• Worked on tailor-made special programming for CNN including the Coronavirus Town Halls, 2016 and 2020 US election, CNN Heroes, War in Syria and Inauguration of Pope Francis, producing shows on location.
